Nice vessel Armin! Same scale as my tanker. What is the length? About 25 cm, and built of what material? Rgds, Klaas.

Klaas, it was made of paper with the length of 18cm.

For such a model, beautiful details Armin. Found more info about the manufacturer of the modelsheets. Must be a special skill to build in paper. 60 years ago I got a set to build a passengervessel Oranje. Unfortunately I was too young to manage. And now I'm too old! But in between the yard produced about 11 ships, whereof 6 are still in service. Nice hobby! Rgdsy. Klaas.

what a great model!!! I think, the original was built in the end of the 1950'ies by Büsumer-Schiffswerft W.& E. Sielaff. Originally, I planed to build such one, too. Her name was KLINTBERG. I've seen this one very often in her danish homeport Marstal. She was renamed MARIE BOYE, later DORTE MARIE and MAGDA BOYE. My colleague Heinz has built this one, too. He had bought a book called "Klassische Küstenmotorschiffe - praktischer Schiffsmodellbau", which includes the plans of the vessel. The scale of the coaster is 1:25

For all lovers of old classic coasters: There is a 1/50 model kit of manufacturer model slipway available. Her name is CASPAR and I think, she's the former Wagenborg vessel NOORDBORG. Has somebody seen or built this one?
