Hello Roy!
Many thanx. Glad you like the box for vessel and transmitter . I think it's useful, because the little model is very fragile.

Re: Scheepsmodellen / bouwtekeningen
Hi all!
In November 2016, I've started a new project. I bought an old BUGSIER 3 for 'little money'. First I want to restore it, but then I decided to built a testvessel. I want to test Actioncams, RC-components, etc. on board.
When the vessel arrived, it looks like a wreck. I want to spend a new life to this poor baby.
When the hull was gutted, I laminated it with glass fiber inside :
The hull was sanded outside:
A friend of mine had an old superstructure of a BUGSIER tug. I change it for a cup of coffee . I built some new masts from brass pipes.
I integrated my old Futaba F-16 40MHz transmitter in the vessel. 8 channels can be realized by this system.
CH 1 = rudder
CH 3 = motor fwd/ back
CH 6 = 4 Channel memory switch (positionlights, towinglight, decklights, workinglight)
CH 7 = 4 Channel memory switch (smoke generator, radar, motor modul, generator sound)
Now the vessel is nearly finished (ca. 90%). Some pics of my "Testbugsier AXION":

Total different look Arne! What kind of main engine are we going to hear? Happy sailing! Regards, Klaas.

Re: Scheepsmodellen / bouwtekeningen
Lovely engine Arne! It's a pity that there is no sound from the exhaust of the 8 cylinder. I've cut bits and pieces from next movie and put them in a Beier module. Engine sound on track 1 and turbocharger sound on track 2. Sound module starts and stops with the electrical engine.
If you like to play with those items send me a mail with the info in what format you need the sounds. Unfortunately this is a 6 cylinder Deutz, but the sound is great. Regards, Klaas.

Re: Scheepsmodellen / bouwtekeningen
Looks great Arne! Seatrials done? I'm curious about the effect of the large rudder. How far will the rudder turn? More then 45 degrees? At my Bugsier it will be about 40 and with the transmitter on dual rate only 20. Sufficient for normal sailing. At full throttle too much speed for natural behaviour. Any ideas about testing programme? Regards, Klaas.

Hi Klaas,
today my testvessel AXION did it's first seatrials. I made som good experiences with the big rudder. The vessel has very exciting maneuvering characteristics. I'm glad about it .
