Arne, Impressive fleet of harbourtugs. Remember them from my childhood when we sailed by tankerbarge to Antwerp. Several Bugsier tugs were sold to Letzer and Gerling company there. Do you have any floating object that you can tow around? I like to see tugs tow, making list showing their power. Bugsier 3 was a favorite Graupner kit, sold over many years. Regards, Klaas.

Hello Klaas,
a barge should be built this summer. Two of my friends (the owners of BUGSIER 7 and BUGSIER 8) are from Rendsburg, too. So a little BUGSIER meeting is possible every time. I plan the following configuration: 2 tugs in front which pull the barge and another one behind it for controlling, steering and reducing the speed. But there is another option I want to check. At the next meeting I want to tow my Nobiskrüger coaster ANNEMARIE, which was built in a scale of 1/38. BUGSIER was constructed by Graupner in 1/33. I'll take some pictures of the towage and post them here.

That's a beautiful fleet of Bugsier tugs Arne !!!.
You should need a rather big ponton or ocean going ship to expres the real thing about harbour towage / assistance. This scale, 1 : 32 or 33 wil be a big challence...........
Is this swimmingpool a regular place to sail with this models ?.

Something like this Roy? Bugsier 3 towing a drillingrig to be taken over by a seagoing tug. Probably Rode Zee. Was 38 years ago in Rozenburg. Fortunately there was no wind.

From the same period Bugsier with sandbarge carrying 14 roadbricks, total weight about 60 kgs.

Hi guys,
very interessting pics .

@Roy: The pool is owned by the community and is used by the residents for taking a bath or go swimming. In the past it was used for ship-, tank-, Truck- and railway-meetings one or two times a year.
